Maple Energy has a corporate level public relations manager with community relations and communication personnel to better communicate and collaborate with communities and stakeholders.  This team's primary responsibility is to obtain any concerns and suggestions from the community and to establish a yearly community relations program previously discussed and agreed between the community and Maple.

Maple community relations programs promote the sustainable development of the communities where it operates and works actively with them through the development of production projects such as fish farming, duck breeding, worm farming for the production of compost, and forestry nurseries, among others.

Maple is also concerned with improving the education and health of the communities. It conducts educational and nutritional workshops and implements yearly health campaigns.
